More December Fun!

We are learning about ACTION words (verbs), so we borrowed Mrs. Lill's mat
and practiced some "actions" in our room!  We were AMAZING!

Working on building a tree  with Grandma Deb.

We are becoming authors and illustrators with the
encouragement of Grandma Julie!

We are working on making our illustrations very detailed.
We can tell who the main characters are and what the setting is.

Working to connect  everyone's chain - team work!

We can READ and WRITE our sight words!

More teamwork and decision making.

Learning about pennies with Grandma Deb.  We had to pay her for the
ornaments we put on our trees.

Mystery 100 chart picture!  This particular one was a mystery
to some even after is was complete!

A BIG thank you to Grandma Julie Nelson for her generous donation to
our classroom.  She gave the money to purchase an ipod and dock for us in
memory of her daughter Anna.  Today marks the 10th anniversary of
her passing.  We were honored that Julie would choose to spend part of
her day with us (and her sweet granddaughter).

Miss Cookie the Christmas Clown brought balloons with her
We are practicing our letters with our balloons!
It is "C" week!

Miss Cookie had the children try to figure out how to turn the balloon
into something that would fit the children's head and stay on it!
This was TRICKY!  Some of us needed to practice PERSEVERANCE!
